Ukrainian Manufacturers of Special Equipment

There are quite a few equipment manufacturers in Ukraine. In recent years, an increasing number of companies have emerged that produce special equipment on automobile chassis. The most well-known Ukrainian equipment includes TDC loaders, 'Techkomplekt' special equipment, 'GlobusAuto' and 'Ukr Truck' communal machinery, 'Alfateks' garbage trucks, 'Budshlyakhmash' equipment, and Elex backhoe loaders. In this article, we will talk about some of these enterprises.

1. TDC

In 2018, the companies 'Logistic Machinery' and 'TDC Ukrspectekhnika' jointly created a production line for skid steer loaders. The loaders feature a Chinese Beinei engine built on a Deutz base, while the frame and several other components are manufactured in Ukraine. Currently, they produce only two machines—TDC-901 (with a lifting capacity of 1050 kg) and TDC-1201 (with a lifting capacity of 1250 kg).

2. Techkomplekt

This special equipment plant opened in 1998. Its unique feature is that it has all the necessary equipment to install aerial work platforms on vehicle chassis. The enterprise is also involved in the sale, development, production, maintenance, and repair of special equipment. Ukrainian and foreign chassis, attachments, and additional equipment are used for the production of special machinery. Recently, the company introduced a new product—the Palfinger Sany TKA-3 truck crane.

3. GlobusAuto

The specialization of 'GlobusAuto' is sweeping and cleaning equipment. It is built on the chassis of various manufacturers. One of the most famous models from 'GlobusAuto' is the 'Globus' all-season cleaner, built on a MAZ chassis. It is assembled in Ukraine using German-Swiss components from Bucher-Schorling. The cleaner features a hopper with a volume of 3–7 cubic meters and two plastic tanks for liquid agents of 1000 liters each.
